Rain pattered on the hard, cobblestone streets of the town. A girl looked out of an alley way. She held something and knew that she had to hide this from prying eyes. She quickly dashed out of the alley way and jogged down the street. People just passed, not caring that someone was running to get out of the rain. She noticed an open door to an inn and rushed inside. Once inside, she sighed and sat down next to the fire. She knew she had to get home, but it was hard to see with the dense fog that invaded the town when even the lightest rain hit. She looked at the people next to her, around the fire. Two rough looking men who were probably farmers, and a young lady who had been out shopping when they storm had rolled in. The girl holding something tucked it closer to her body, the other, looked at her, "Oh, hello. You must have got caught in this rain as well." She chuckled. The girl just nodded, "Yes.... I was taking a walk. My name is Jenny. What is yours?" She asked. The shopping girl smiled, "Abbi." Jenny smiled in response and stood slowly looking at the inn owner, "Do you have a room I may rent for the night?" The inn keeper nodded and led Jenny to the room. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!" She cheered before walking out of the room, closing the door behind her.

Jenny listened to the door close behind the inn keeper. Once it was shut, she sat the object down, a dragon egg. She smirked, "Good." She removed a glove and lightly touched the egg. It burned to the touch. "Soon..." She whispered. She picked it back up carefully and sat it in the small fire that was in her room. She took off her soaked clothes and changed into some dry ones. She sat in front of the fire, watching the flames. "I will have to be careful now...." She pulled out a coin purse and began counting her coin. She had enough to buy food and drink at the inn, and a horse in the morning. "Horse will move a lot faster than me walking. I need to make it back to the guild." She frowned. Her weapons were hidden behind the door, she wasnt sure if someone would dare bother her tonight. She just tried to relax and watch the fire.
